Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation are organizing the 13th edition of the PETROTECH-2019 from February 10-12, 2019 in India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, National Capital Region, New Delhi, India.
The event aims to explore areas of growth in petroleum technology, exploration, drilling, production and processing, refining, pipeline transportation, petrochemicals, natural gas, LNG, petroleum trade, economics, legal and human resource development, marketing, research & development, information technology, safety, health and environment management in the oil & gas sector. As the prime showcase of India’s hydrocarbon sector, this mega event attracts technologists, scientists, planners and policymakers, management experts, entrepreneurs, service providers and vendors in order to catalyze achievement of global energy security.
The PETROTECH series of conferences has gathered momentum and emerged as a movement uniting the upstream, midstream and the downstream sectors. Each PETROTECH conference has been unique in its approach while ubiquitous in its aim to provide cleaner, greener, and sustainable energy solutions. The biennial congregation Petrotech2019 is the largest oil and gas event in India and provides a vibrant platform bringing together Energy Ministers, CEOs of IOCs and NOCs, industry professionals, policy makers, experts, technology leaders, academia, service providers and stakeholders to meet, deliberate and exchange ideas. The last edition of PETROTECH held in December 2016 was attended by over 7100 delegates from 31 countries, besides 690 Exhibitors and 15 Country Pavilions.
India continues to remain one of the fastest growing economies in the world. As per the United Nations report titles World Economic Situation and Prospects 2018, the outlook for India is underpinned by robust private consumption and public investment as well as ongoing structural reforms. GDP growth is projected to accelerate from 6.7% in economic growth while providing universal energy access in conformance to global sustainability goals and our pledge to reduce carbon emission. Indian hydrocarbon industry has been engaging with its global counterparts more intensely than ever in the past. PETROTECH – 2019 seeks to facilitate and enhance this engagement for mutual benefit and collaboration.
