The Embassy of India to Sweden & Latvia would like to inform that India Tourism Frankfurt has
advertised a global tender for the appointment of a Tourism Management Agency for
assisting the Indian Tourism offices in Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Sweden for
promotion and publicity of Tourism to India.
The selected agency will function as an
extended arm of India Tourism Frankfurt.
India Tourism Frankfurt is one of the eight overseas offices of the Ministry of Tourism,
Government of India, responsible for promotion of tourism to India from western European
and Scandinavian countries. India Tourism Frankfurt (ITF) invites proposals from
professional agencies having prior experience of representing tourism destinations in
Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
The Bid should be submitted on or before
15:00 hrs on 30.09.2019.
Scope of Work:-
The Tourism Management Agency (TMA) will assist the India Tourism in identifying the
tour operators/ travel agencies and other agencies who have the capacity to sell India as a
tourism destination also in conducting ‘Know India Seminar’ and ‘Road Shows’ in
Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland markets.
The TMA will also be responsible to send emails and information on regular basis to the
potential tour operators and other stakeholders in order to provide information about
destination in India as well as different positive developments/ happening in India. The
agency will assist India Tourism in promoting its publicity programms (such as joint
promotions, joint advertising, hospitality scheme etc),tourism fairs/ exhibition/ marts etc.
Submission of Proposal:-
Agencies are informed that Quality-cum-Cost based assessment System will be followed for
selection of Tourism Management Agency. For this purpose Technical as well as Financial
proposals of the agencies will be evaluated. All agencies are therefore required to submit
proposals in two sealed packets details of which can be seen in the attached approved PDF
copy of the said notice and the same can be visited on
www.tourism.gov.in.
The interested agency(ies) may submit their bid by post or courier only so as to reach the
Assistant Director India Tourism, Baseler Strasse, 48 Frankfurt Am Main, 60329, Sweden on or before 15:00 hrs on 30.09.2019. Bids received by e-mail will not be entertained and
