NTPC’s Call for Interest of Technology Partner for Bio-Methane Plant (1200 TPD) Manufacturer for Integrated Waste to Energy Project at Ghonda-Gujran, Delhi.

We would like to inform you that NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN) (a fully owned subsidiary company of National Thermal Power Corporation Limited - NTPC) is planning to build the world’s largest capacity Bio-Methane Plant (1200 TPD), an Integrated Waste to Energy Project at Ghonda-Gujran, Delhi under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Clean India Mission) initiated by the Government of India and are in the process of inviting tenders:

In view of above, NTPC Limited is looking for a Technology Partner for their upcoming project, meeting the below mentioned criteria:

  1. Technology partner should have designed, engineered, manufactured / got manufactured, supplied, erected / supervised erection, commissioned / supervised commissioning of at least two (02) numbers of bio gas plant, employing Anaerobic Digestion, having rated digester / reactor capacity of at least 75 metric tonnes per day (TPD) of Organic fraction of Municipal Solid Waste anywhere in the world.

  1. Also they should have designed, engineered, manufactured / got manufactured, supplied, erected / supervised erection, commissioned / supervised commissioning of Cumulative capacity of 500 TPD (not more than 3 plant) of input waste.

  1. In case of award of a project, they will be required to furnish an on demand bank guarantee for an amount of 2% of the total contract price of the awarded project.

  1. The average annual turnover of the technology partner, should not be less than INR 350 Crore (Indian Rupees Three Hundred Fifty Crore only) or in equivalent foreign currency (appx. USD 50 million).
