Restoration of Tourist/e-Tourist Visa for Foreign Tourists

In view of the improving COVID situation in India, Government of India has relaxed visa and travel restrictions with immediate effect, which remained suspended since March 2020.  

Latest guidelines are as follows:

i         e-Tourist Visa under the three options (one month, one year and five years) shall stand restored. Applications for fresh e-tourist visas can be made at the Indian e-visa portal indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html

ii        Regular (Paper) valid Tourist visa issued to foreign nationals shall stand restored. Applications for fresh regular paper visa can be made at indembassysweden.gov.in/page/visa/ 

iii       Applicants are advised to go through the guidelines for international travel to India at

           mohfw.gov.in/pdf/GuidelinesforInternationalarrivalsupdatedon10thFebruary2022.pdf.
