The panel on “Powering the Future” explored how emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence, energy systems, semiconductors, and education, are collectively shaping the future. A central theme was that the “powering” of the future is not just about energy, but about the convergence of AI infrastructure, hardware innovation, and human capital.
Consul General outlined India’s AI vision anchored in the human-centric MANAV framework, which is focused on ethics, affordability, inclusivity, and safeguards against bias, backed by the India AI Mission. Fellow speakers included Consul General of Japan in San Francisco Kotaro Otsuki; Dr. Siva Sivaram, president/CEO, QuantumScape; Dr. Rudra Pratap, founding vice chancellor, Plaksha University. The session was moderated by Mateen Syed, co-founder/CEO, Bizhance.
