Know India Programme
83rd edition of the Know India Programme (KIP) will be organised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India (GOI) from 10 to 28 November 2025. 40 youth PIO members in the age group of 21-35 years would be invited to visit India for a 3-week programme.
2. KIP is a flagship programme of MEA that seeks to reconnect Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) in the age-group of 21-35 years to their ethnic roots besides showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India and its recent spectacular developmental efforts. MEA endeavours to present various facets of contemporary Indian Art, Heritage, Culture, Economy, Innovations, Start-ups, Science & Technology, etc., to the youth members of the Indian Diaspora and strives to motivate and inspire them to contribute and participate in the transformative initiatives of the GOI as part of its march towards Viksit Bharat. Since its inception in 2003-04, MEA has successfully organized 82 editions of the KIP with participation of 2959 youth PIO members.
3. Guidelines, Application proforma, Flyers etc., for the KIP are attached. Interested participants may kindly share scanned copies of the duly filled Application Form, Educational Qualification Certificate, Passport, Passport sized coloured photograph, PIO/OCI Card, etc. to the Embassy of India, Stockholm by e-mail to hoc.stockholm@mea.gov.in, latest by 19 October 2025.
