Important Notice for Indians holding Swedish Passport

All the Indian Swedish passport holders when applying for India visa must submit the proof of surrender of Indian citizenship and cancellation of Indian passport. Since India does not approve dual nationality, surrendering Indian passport is mandatary after obtaining any other citizenship at the earliest to avoid penalties. Indian citizens getting Swedish citizenship and passport are advised to follow the procedure for surrendering their citizenship and cancellation of Indian passport as per guidelines available in the Consular Services details on the Embassy website.
